Art Displayed In Buses One Day Only Exhibition!

On Tuesday 30 September come along and visit a very unusual art exhibition in Temple Gardens just outside the Usher Gallery.
Photographs celebrating the wide range of reasons why people across Lincolnshire choose to use public transport will be displayed inside buses parked in the gardens. If you have never been to an art gallery inside a bus (or buses) then this is your chance!
From pie-makers to pirates, travel trainers to theatre goers and vintage fashion lovers this exhibition offers a snapshot of bus passengers in Lincolnshire and showcases their reasons to travel.
Get on board with this unique art event, take a seat on one of the buses (perhaps with a drink in hand) and enjoy the artworks, photography skill and on occasion humour on show.
Temple Gardens, by the Usher Gallery, Lindum Road, Lincoln, LN2 1NP.
Tuesday 30th September 2025, 10am - 2pm.
The exhibition is organised by the Transport Services and Callconnect Teams of Lincolnshire County Council who will be available to answer any questions around bus services, concessionary passes and the new Citymapper journey planning app.
This art exhibition is taking place in the uphill area of Lincoln. See our guide on getting the bus up Steep Hill.
