For one year there will be disruption to the Birchwood buses in Lincoln due to a major road project taking place, the Western Growth Corridor. The disruption will see the X6 no longer running at all and changes to the service 6, 9, and 19. If you are wanting to get to the hospital by bus then a new service, Service 4, will be running directly from the bus station to Lincoln County Hospital. The roadworks will be on the junction of Skellingthorpe Road and Birchwood Avenue.
The route has changed and will now run via Skellingthorpe Road. The frequency of this bus has increased to be every 15 minutes.
